On the 14th of February 1931, 16 families of grape growers from the town of Bento Gonçalves joined forces to create COOPERATIVA VINÍCOLA AURORA. Located in the South of Brazil, Aurora is the largest Brazilian Winery. 1,100 families are members of the cooperative and the production is coordinated by experts in contact with the grape producers, supplying advice and assistance where required.
For more than two decades Aurora has occupied its top position, it made possible through the continuing modernisation of its industrial premises, utilisation of the latest technology and a rigorous quality control system, with ISO 9001, 14001 and 22000. All of this has contributed to mantain the leadership of Aurora in wines, grape juices and wine coolers in Brazil and exports to more than 20 countries.
