Pachamama Coffee Cooperative is the first coffee roaster in North America 100% owned and governed by family farmers in Peru, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico and Ethiopia. We select, roast and brew our best organic coffee and ship directly to customers. At Pachamama, the farmers own the company, ensuring all profits flow back to origin. Pachamama Coffee's five member-cooperatives are: COCLA (Peru), PRODECOOP (Nicaragua), Manos Campesinas (Guatemala), La Union Regional de Huatusco (Mexico) and Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (Ethiopia).
Pachamama Co-Founder and CEO, Thaleon Tremain, speaks at the 2020 Cooperative IMPACT Conference, October 2020. Presented by the National Cooperative Business Association CLUSA International (@NCBACLUSA), the annual IMPACT conference provides an unparalleled platform to reenergize the cooperative movement and galvanize its champions around building the next economy.
