FUCAC, Federacion Uruguaya de Cooperativas de Ahorro y Credito, is a
credit cooperative in Uruguay. Founded in 1972, with the
order to articulate and promote the emerging credit cooperative sector. for
Uruguay administered it projects funds and foreign entities, which
spent thousands of beneficiaries across the country in their productive purposes
working. Currently, FUCAC is an organization made up nearly
130,000 members and is present throughout the country through a set of 27
associated credit unions.
